The 18th XzentriX meeting, a retro-computing party for old computers and game consoles, will take place from 04.-06.09.2015 in Seeshaupt / Germany. Like every year you can expect that a lot of german Amstrad CPC / Schneider CPC users will visit the party. If you have time, don’t miss it! You can find more information on the XzentriX homepage and see some photos in the meeting gallery of my page. In old tradition we will also have a Whacky Wit competition on Saturday again…

ReSeT #20 Amstrad CPC demoparty

The biggest french Amstrad CPC party, the ReSeT #20, will take place in Coutances / France from 26th-28th June 2015. Like every year, the party is organised by Eliot / Benediction. It is open to all computer enthusiast and for everyone who is intersted in coding, electronics, graphics, music, etc.. Be sure to participate if you can. You can register here.

Features:

  • Big screen
  • Competitions to show up your creativity on Amstrad
  • Latest demos released on Atari ST, Atari XL, C64 and ZX Spectrum
  • Food and Drinks included
  • Showers and Bedrooms
  • Lot of fun!

Competitions:

  • Demo: No size limit. The entry must be runnable on CPC 6128 or 6128 Plus, without any extension.
  • Intro (256b, 1k, 4k): Maximum size is 256, 1024 or 4096 bytes. The entry must be runnable on CPC 6128 or 6128 Plus, without any extension.
  • Graphics: All formats / modes are allowed. The entry must be submitted with its viewer program runnable on CPC or Plus.
  • Music: No size limit. The entry must be submitted with its player.
  • Remote entries: Allowed for every competitions.Deadline is Saturday, 27th of June.

Aren’t we missing a demoparty this year? Yes, the biggest Amstrad CPC demoparty: The ReSeT! The ReSeT #18 party in Coutances / France will take place from 14th-16th November 2014. Like every year, the party is organised by Eliot / Benediction. It is open to all computer enthusiast and for everyone who is intersted in coding, electronics, graphics, music, etc.. Be sure to participate if you can and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Amstrad CPC. You can register here.

Revision 2014 pictures / meeting report

The Revision 2014 is over and I alreadey posted the official results and Doz’ Amstrad CPC entry in the Oldskool competition, but we also took some pictures, which we want to share with you. You can find my pictures either in the meeting gallery of this page or on the Revision party page of Push’n’Pop (only available for registered users). Toms also wrote a nice meeting report, so be sure to check it, too.
Thanks to all the participants for such a great and well-organised party. Unfortunately it was too short to speak with everybody, but hopefully we see us next year again :).
