The Playputer SDK , a C/C++ framework which aims on virtual machine creation for playing games, got an update to version 0.4. It contains emulation for the Gameboy, the Gameboy Advance and – of course the most important for us – the Amstrad CPC. The CPC emulation is based on Caprice. You can download the newest version from the Sourceforge project page .
Zx81 just released a new version of his Caprice32 based CPC emulator for the PSP (Playstation Portable). As always you can download the newest version from his weblog.
Here are the changes of the new version:
improve speed (+3 fps at 222Mhz)
add new hotkeys:
– settings such as fps, delta_y or render mode can now be directly modified inside the emulator (no need to enter in the settings menu)
– quick save / quick load current state (no need to enter in the main menu)
