Goodbye 2012, hello 2013! We had some nice releases for the Amstrad CPC in 2012, so the demoscene site Push’n’Pop wants to create the charts of the best games, demos, etc. And this is the point where you can help: Go to Push’n’Pop and fill the form to vote for your favourite CPC software in 2012. You can vote until the 31. January.
You already saw the news about the releases from the ReSeT #8 which took place in Coutances / France and was organised by Eliot. Now Voxfreax took the time to write a meeting report, which you can read on the Push’n’Pop homepage.
Hicks from Push’n’Pop interviewed the team of the Wake Up! demo, which was presented at the Revision 2012 demoparty in Saarbrücken / Germany. In the interview Eliot, Krusty, Voxfreax, Exin, McKlain and DMA-SC explain their intentions and effects used in the demo and also speak about their impressions of the Revision 2012 and the CPC demoscene.
Pulkomandy wrote a meeting report for the FOReVER XIII party, which was held from 16th-18th March 2012 in Horna Suca. On the FOReVER XIII party, the demo Wolfenstrad, which was presented in one of the previous news postings, was released and also the music CPC in Wonderland by Electro participated in a competition and ranked 3rd, too.

Push’n’Pop, the Amstrad CPC scene page, asked their members for a vote to create charts of the best productions, etc. for the last year. And here are the results (as you can see, mostly french sceners voted – water and wine are on top in the ‘top drinks’ list
