New version of the CPCRSlib

Artaburu released a new version of his utility library for the Z88dk C-compiler. Mariano the dragon was written with using this library and so it contains a lot of graphics functions, key functions, map functions, etc. You can download it from the official homepage of the CPCRslib.

Here are the changes of the new version:

  • cpc_TestKey : Code optimized, smaller and faster.
  • cpc_RedefineKey: Code optimized, smaller and faster.
  • cpc_AnyKeyPressed: Rewritten, smaller and faster…. previous version doesn’t work.
  • cpc_SetBorder: Changed caller function, now it’s smaller and faster routine.
  • cpc_InitTileMap: Changed caller function, now it’s smaller and faster routine.

PHAT – New Amstrad Plus demo

Hey, another Amstrad Plus demo (needs at least 128k RAM) is there and this time it shows that it is possible to write a demo with C (the Z88dk compiler was used to program this demo). You can download the demo from Cpcscene.com .
If you also want to program with C for the CPC you can read this programming guide.

Artaburu released a new version of his utility library for the Z88dk C-compiler. Mariano the dragon was written with using this library and so it contains a lot of graphics functions, key functions, map functions, etc. You can download it from the official homepage of the CPCRslib.
In this version, Artaburu added a uncompression routine for the Exomizer compression program.

Ok, in the last news posting I announced the game “Mariano the dragon” and now it is available. The game is written in C and they also included the sourcecode in the game package.

It’s strange, sometimes you find news when you don’t expect it. While reading in the Z88dk forums I found a link to the CEZ GS (Computer Emuzone Game Studio) where they just announced a new game for the CPC and the Spectrum. It will be an adventure game and “will be available sooner than you may think”.
