The RetroMadrid 09 is over and it seems that it was a nice meeting (again). Deepfb published some photos of the 2009 meeting in the CPCWiki forum and on Flickr. Btw, watch the photos closely, you can find an Aleste 520ex there…
As every year, a big spanish retro meeting will be held in Madrid. Here is the announcement from Johnny Farragut which he made in the csa8 newsgroup:
RetroMadrid 08 will take place on the 8th of March, in Madrid. RetroMadrid (http://www.retromadrid.es/), formerly known as MadriSX & Retro, is one of the biggest fairs in Europe specifically dedicated to vintage computers, consoles and games. There will be competitions, sales zone, and, of course, plain exhibition of consoles, computers and old & new software for them. The Grupo de Usuarios de Amstrad (Amstrad Users Group, http://www.gua.cepece.info/) will set up a stall in RetroMadrid. We will be showing the latest CPC releases (Star Sabre, Small Games for Smart Minds, Magical Drop, Frogger for CPC+…).
You are more than welcome if you would like to visit the fair and Madrid. We can look for accommodation for you, and the entrance to the fair is free. Please get in touch with us if you are planning to come. Our email address is gua dot madrid at gmail dot com.
If you have time and you don’t fear travelling to spain, be sure to go there!
