The Revision 2013 is over and the Amstrad CPC was represented by Vanity with their new demo “Still Rising”, which won the 2nd place in the Oldskool demo competition. Well, so here are the official results of the Revision 2013 – this time in glorious ASCII art.
It is Revision demo party time and the Vanity presented their brand new demo “Still Rising” to the masses yesterday. Unquestionable it is a honest competitor to the Batman Forever demo and features great effects, great graphics and great music. Now it is available for download on Pouet (as always: don’t forget to vote for it) and at the end of the news.

Egotrip created a Nintendo Picross style game for the Amstrad CPC in BASIC. The playfield is a grid and you have to use the clues to uncover the image. It contains about 16 puzzles. The 16th XzentriX meeting, a retro-computing party for old computers and game consoles, will take place from 06.-08.09.2013 in Seeshaupt / Germany. Like every year you can expect that a lot of german Amstrad CPC users will come to this party. If you have time, don’t miss it! Woohoo, a new game for the Amstrad CPC and it also features Zombies – great 
!. Relevo Videogames, a spanish independent game studio, just released their Jump and Run game “Invasion of the Zombie Monsters”.
In this game you play Ned, whose girlfriend Linda was kidnapped by a demonic evil shadow, which also brought chaos and darkness over the city. Fortunately Ned is the chosen one and the moon casts a spell on him, so now it is time to find Linda and defeat the evil. But you will also get more information about the story in the intro of the game.
The game features nice graphics and sound effects (and Zombies 
) and if you also own a ZX Spectrum or a MSX, you can play it on this systems, too. Be sure to test it on your Amstrad CPC or in your emulator.
