“Get The Cash” is a fast paced arcade written by Ross Simpson. The game is quite simple: you have to collect the money bags, which are falling down from the top of screen, and you have to avoid the brick walls, as well. While you are playing the game, it will get harder, because the playing field is reduced in size and you have to collect more money bags to reach the next level. The game is written in HiSoft Pascal, using Sean McManus Easy-Sprite driver. The intro is written in assembly language.
You can download the game from the CPCWiki and at the end of this news.

It is time to catch up with some news, which have not published yet on this page… During Halloween, Bizarro Games released a new game called Zombi Terror Reloaded (= ZTR) for the Amstrad CPC. ZTR was written by Kabuto Factory for the Commodore 64. The game itself is a combination of text adventure and role-playing elements.

For the story: You wake up on an island and you don’t know how you got there. In front of you, you can see a harbor where a yacht is docked, but obviously you cannot just leave the island, because you are unable to start the engine…

You can download the game from the Bizarror games homepage or at the end of this news.

Phoenix is a Space Invaders like arcade game written by Amstar in 1980 directly for an arcade machine. Norbert Kehrer thought that it would be possible to emulate this machine on the Amstrad CPC with the Z80, so he wrote an emulator, which uses the ROM of the arcade game and emulates the complete machine including the graphics and sound hardware. Besides some smaller bugs, which he wants to fix in the future, it runs fine on the Amstrad CPC.
You can download the latest version of the game from his homepage.
