CPC Klassentreffen 2009 – Day 2

Day 2 is over and so we come to the final day of the meeting here in Erlangen. Yesterday was – as always – Bergkirchweih time. You can see more in the pictures, which I took.

Kangaroo is playing music on a Nintendo DS with Korg DS-10. Ythcal, Gert Genial, Odin, Face Hugger and Nurgle have the opportunity to listen to him ;-).

No meeting without hardware defect. CPC-Mike’s monitor decided to send smoke to the people and died during the meeting. Nilquader, Dr.Zed and Face Hugger opened the monitor and had a look at it. You can see Villain in the background who doesn’t care about that (only on his ranking in the football manager).

Last bur not least we went to the Bergkirchweih to drink a beer or two…

Ok, just a first impression from the german CPC meeting… The first day is over, I had some sleep and now I have some time to write a few words. Here some first pictures which I took yesterday.

This are most of the naming tags, only some are missing… The missing ones are AFAIK Villain, Kangaroo and Brainblaster.

For this meeting they also created a mug.

From left to right: Gert Genial, Ythcal (front), Face Hugger (back), BSC and Kangaroo Musique. They are playing some instruments to some CPC tunes (btw, Kangaroo and BSC are playing a Kazoo).

Tolkin presented a new preview of Giana Sisters remake, which is a co-production of TFM, Tolkin and Kangaroo. I think you will hear more about it some days after the meeting.

Odiesoft showed a first version of his game Megablasters. At that time it ran in Mode 1.

Ok, that’s all for now. I will try to write a bit more if I have enough time during the next days.

The RetroMadrid 09 is over and it seems that it was a nice meeting (again). Deepfb published some photos of the 2009 meeting in the CPCWiki forum and on Flickr. Btw, watch the photos closely, you can find an Aleste 520ex there…

CPC Reunion 2009 Meeting

You remember the old CPC Reunion meetings (2001 and 2002)? If not: it is a meeting for all former active and active CPC users. Everybody is invited to come to the meeting and it would be great to see some non-german sceners like on the old meetings there, too. The party will take place from 29.-31. May 2009 in Erlangen / Germany.
During that time the “Bergkirchweih” will be held in Erlangen, too, so expect that we will visit it.
You can get more information on the official CPC Reunion 2009 meeting homepage. Btw, after the party on 2001 Brainblaster and Kangaroo tried to sell my disk box on eBay (I forgot it on the party).

From 31th October to 2nd November 2008 the Castellum secretum meeting will be held in Segré / France (near Angers, 49). You can get more information about the meeting on the meeting website (only in french).
