We have the first release in 2013: The spanish Retroworks game studio released the game “Teodoro no sabe volar” (Teodoro can’t fly) for the Amstrad CPC. It is also available for Spectrum and MSX computers. You have to guide Teodoro through the enemy infested castle to warn the nearby kingdoms about the invading menace. As always, beautiful graphics and nice music, so don’t wait and download it from the Retroworks page (currently only the cassette version is available – the disk version will follow within the next days).

ESP Soft released a new game for the CPC called iLogicAll. It is a logical game where you have to help MariBee to become queen. Unfortunately I am unable to understand spanish so I am not sure how to play it, but I read that it has a similar gameplay to “Picross”.
Don’t to download and play it. You can download it from the Amstrad.es homepage.

DaDMaN, a spanish CPC user, created a prototype to connect FTDI’s Vinculum VDRIVE board to the CPC. With the Vinculum it is possible to connect USB storage devices to microcontrollers. He also published two videos on Youtube which show the prototype interface in action:

I already own a VMUSIC 1 (no longer available for private persons) module and have connected this board to the CPC with the CPC Booster+. I used a simple MAX323 level shifter to connect it. You can do this with every RS232 interface of the CPC and use the terminal program to send commands to the board. Here is an image of mine:
