The Revision 2014 is over and this time I also had the pleasure to be there and to see Doz’ Amstrad CPC entry by myself, too. Like last year, where Vanity won with “Still rising” the 2nd place in the Oldskool demo competition, this years entry “Breaking Baud” won the 2nd place as well with a very strong competitor on an Atari VCS. Well, so here are the official results of the Revision 2014 – again in glorious ASCII art.
Pulkomandy and Bonefish wrote a meeting report for the FOReVER 2014 party, which was held from 14th-16th March 2014 in Horna Suca, Slovakia. On the FOReVER 2014 party, Brink participated in the “Other platforms graphics” competition and ranked first with his picture “French Garden” (see below). He also ranked 1st in the “Other platform Music” with his song “Jive Turkey”. Congratulations!
You can read the full meeting report, see images of the party and download the competition entries at Push’N’Pop.
Another XzentriX meeting is over and so it is time to upload the new meeting pictures and write some lines about the meeting. This year we only had two real CPCs here (shame on you MaV, you should have bring a CPC with you ;-)) – only Mr.AMS and I brought a CPC to the meeting. Anyway, like every year, a lot of german CPC sceners came to Seeshaupt (this year Kangaroo Musique, Nurgle, MaV, Nilquader, Mr.AMS, Octoate (myself), Odiesoft and Sync). We had a lot of fun, talking about old times, drink one or two beers and enjoyed the meeting. Nurgle also tried to get the latest Arnold version working under Linux, we played the games of the 16k ROM game competition and there was also a mysterious coder writing some sprite routines in a hurry…
This year, Kangaroo also held the first german “Whacky Wit” championships on the XzentriX. Unfortunatly I didn’t managed to get through the first round :-(, but Odin – Odiesofts brother -, won the third place. Hooray!
So, I won’t bore you with more details. Head over to the meeting section and watch the meeting pictures there.
Ok, this year I am a bit slow with the news: Toms wrote a meeting report about the Revision 2013 demoparty for Push’n’Pop. Maybe you already had a look at the official results or the Still Rising demo by Vanity so you can now read their impressions of the meeting as well. You can read the meeting report on the Push’n’Pop homepage.
